how many of us are guilty of using God as a vending machine?
we worship and praise, donate and tithe, and then pray and tell Him what we want. what we need. what we must have. and when He speaks, we do not listen. we are the own Lords of our lives.
clearly Jesus is the Lord of our lives; every single aspect. our lives should be rooted in Christ.
shallowness is the greatest curse of mankind. small dosages of Christianity act as vaccine for true Christianity itself.
we are not editors of God's word, but executors of God's word.
of these, i am guilty.
i still have much to learn.

stuck.
i'm back from exercise earthworm.
that was the single most draining exercise since enlistment. ugh.
civilization never smelled so good.
such a great feeling to head to town again. finally eyeballed some skirt-wearers. haha! okay i would be lying if i said that didn't feel good, but hey! i'm not gonna become some desperate shithead just after a coupla weeks of not seeing skirts alright!
ystrday's dinner at seoul garden with section one was pretty good. i realised it's my first ever section outing, inclusive of bmt, sispec and fds. hmmm, clearly a tad anti-social. haha. met up with zhong, alaric and ed after that. i was so tired that i was dozing off, even before midnight. sheesh.
'lazing around', unfortunately or fortunately, has been phased out of my vocabulary since enlistment. evidently from all my rantings about army, time is a rare commodity that i'm always short on. gone are the days where it's possible to bum around at home, catch lotsa mtv, sleep and pig out without feeling guilty about the obscene amounts of time wasted. and i've been constantly reminded of this whenever i see kids (haha!) in school uniform bumming around in town. no purpose, no aim.. just floating around and passing time. ahhh.. the luxury.
and since dianetan is the only one thus far to know of this new site, i shall say i miss her and i really hope i can make the planetshakers gig so we'd be at least be able to meet. oh and.. TOO BAD YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ME BALD BEFORE. :D
